SmartphoneKey (the "app") is operated by SmartPhoneKey.

Service Description

The app lets authorized users manage their smart locks through AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude). You can view the locks you can access, view a lock's details, open a lock, grant or revoke another person's access to a lock, and manage residents (list, add, remove) who receive intercom calls and notifications.

Eligibility

You must have a valid SmartPhoneKey account and may only act on locks you own or have been granted access to.

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Only view, open, or manage locks you own or are authorized to control
• Only grant or revoke access on locks you are authorized to administer
• Provide accurate resident and user information
• Not attempt to access, open, or manage locks belonging to other users
• Not use the service to harass, spam, or grant unauthorized access

Physical Lock Operation

This app can send commands to open physical locks and to change who may access them. You are solely responsible for any lock-open, access-grant, or access-revoke action you initiate through the app, and for ensuring each action is authorized and safe. Do not rely on the app as your sole means of securing a physical space.

Availability

This service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time.

Limitation of Liability

SmartPhoneKey is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this service, including but not limited to unauthorized access resulting from compromised credentials or from lock-open, access-grant, or access-revoke actions you initiate.
